And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going”, recorded at The Collective, 2000. Otherwise known as ‘My, what a big mouth you have!’

“Makin’ love with you”, (Atlantic Freeway) released 1995, and did extremely well for us throughout Europe, including being a great big number 1 hit somewhere nice and sunny :-)    Good times. The guy in the pic is Elias Cameron, now a producer, arranger and session musician.

Wuthering Heights”. Me having, ahem, rather too much fun sending up the icon that is Kate Bush (sorry ma’am)! Actually, I recorded it to wind up my Mother, who always hated this song. Naturally, she loves this recording. Contrariness runs in the family.

“Grind of your heel” was the first of the Atlantic Freeway releases to do well, especially in the rock-loving places in Europe like Germany, Holland & Belgium. Fantastic guitar work on this track, 1994/5?

Regresa a mi (Unbreak my heart)for Keen on Jazz, recorded in 2006-ish. This shot (Katie Massey, Givvi Flynn and me) was great fun - taken at the Phoenix Theatre, lying around on furs while ace photo-grapher Mike Staiger balanced at the top of a ladder :-)

Teach me tonight” for Keen on Jazz.

“Tonight”, recorded at The Collective, 2000 for the Madison Alley Katz album ‘Choice Cuts’. This was us in serious mode.... Right up to the point where we swapped roles - Alex (Weatherhill) sang Maria and I sang Tony. This clip shows some of the precious little ‘sensible’ stuff from the track.

The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy From Company B.” recorded 2006 for Keen on Jazz, with Givvi Flynn and Katie Massey.

Deadringer for Love”, recorded at The Collective, 2000 for the Madison Alley Katz album ‘Choice Cuts’. We were as camp as Christmas then, and still are when given the opportunity :-)  I think you say we were taking this vocal less than seriously. Much fun was had!

“Changing” from the ‘Choice Cuts album. I recorded these many years before ‘Dreamgirls’ became a movie. A fantastic score for us girlies with big gobs!

No alibi was one of the last Atlantic Freeway demos to be recorded, just before we split in the mid 90s. Still one of my favourite tracks!

Here’s a selection of some recordings of Yours Truly, in various guises from rock chick with Atlantic Freeway to camp-as-you-like with Madison Alley Katz, plus solo diva offerings and memories of Keen on Jazz. There’s more. Lots more. But I didn’t want to put it all on here (who’s got time to listen anyway)?!  And besides, I can’t even find some of the albums!  So this is just a smattering of memories to be going along with. :-)   You can either access the songs individually by clicking on the titles, or you can open a window with them all in by clicking here..
